Welcome to our little creative space on the internet, we hope you love our designs and products. My name is Samantha. I started SMD in the Fall of 2020 right after I had my second daughter. I was in a postpartum funk and I needed an outlet for creativity. I began doing seamless designs and since then SMD has grown into more than I could have imagined. Our goal is for SMD to be a space where everyone feels welcome and everyone can learn from each other.

Hello! I am Hannah and I am so honored to be one of the designers here at SMD!

I am a full time Family and Consumer Sciences teacher, small shop owner, mother to two beautiful girls and a wife to my husband Sean. We live on a small little goat farm in Stedman, NC with our dogs and cats. Sewing has been a passion of mine since a very young age, and most days you can find me behind the machine creating one of a kind designs for my kiddos and Samantha Marie Design. I love all things creative and crafting, watching baseball and football with my family and I constantly have some sort of caffeine in my hands. I can’t wait to see all of your beautiful makes!

Kirstin Krug

Sewing Pattern Designer

Hey, I’m Kirstin! I am a pattern designer for Samantha Marie Design. I also have a handmade clothing shop called Naptime Creations Co. I started sewing clothing for fun in my free time in August of 2019, just shortly after my son was born (hence the Naptime Creations). I had previously sewn beginner quilts but clothing was a whole new ballgame to me. My passion continued to grow and turned into a little side business instead of just a hobby. In October of 2021, I decided to jump in feet first into a whole new sewing adventure and started pattern designing. Along with pattern designing and sewing, I am a wife and a mama of 2 beautiful babies (Aiden and Oaklynn). You will see them advertising my patterns a lot because they are rather good at it! (But I might be a little biased). We live in a VERY small town in Wisconsin of about only 40 people so I really appreciate my online sewing friends & community!
